تَنزِيلُ ٱلْكِتَٰبِ لَا رَيْبَ فِيهِ مِن رَّبِّ ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ ٢
Tanzeelul Kitaabi laa raiba feehi mir rabbil ‘aalameen.
This is the revelation of the Book about which there is no doubt from the Lord of the worlds.

أَمْ يَقُولُونَ ٱفْتَرَىٰهُ ۚ بَلْ هُوَ ٱلْحَقُّ مِن رَّبِّكَ لِتُنذِرَ قَوْمًا مَّآ أَتَىٰهُم مِّن نَّذِيرٍ مِّن قَبْلِكَ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَهْتَدُونَ ٣
Am yaqooloonaf taraahu bal huwal haqqu mir rabbika litunzira qawma maaa ataahum min nazeerim min qablika la’allahum yahtadoon.
Or do they say, ‘He invented it’? Rather, it is the truth from your Lord, so that you may warn a people to whom no warner came before you, so perhaps they will be guided.

Simple Explanation
The disbelievers accused the Prophet ﷺ of inventing the Quran. Allah answers that this Book is the truth from Him.

ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِي خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا فِي سِتَّةِ أَيَّامٍ ثُمَّ ٱسْتَوَىٰ عَلَى ٱلْعَرْشِ ۖ مَا لَكُم مِّن دُونِهِۦ مِن وَلِيٍّ وَلَا شَفِيعٍ ۚ أَفَلَا تَتَذَكَّرُونَ ٤
Allaahul lazee khalaqas samaawaati wal arda wa maa bainahumaa fee sittati ayyaamin thummas tawaa ‘alal ‘arsh; maa lakum min doonihee minw-waliyyinw-wala shafee’; afalaa tatazakkaroon.
It is Allah who created the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them in six days; then He established Himself above the Throne. You have no protector or intercessor besides Him. Will you not be reminded?

يُدَبِّرُ ٱلْأَمْرَ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ إِلَى ٱلْأَرْضِ ثُمَّ يَعْرُجُ إِلَيْهِ فِي يَوْمٍ كَانَ مِقْدَارُهُۥٓ أَلْفَ سَنَةٍ مِّمَّا تَعُدُّونَ ٥
Yudabbirul amra minas samaaa’i ilal ardi thumma ya’ruju ilaihi fee yawmin kaana miqdaaruhooo alfa sanatim mimmaa ta’uddoon.
He arranges every matter from the heaven to the earth; then it ascends to Him in a Day whose measure is a thousand years of what you count.

ذَٰلِكَ عَٰلِمُ ٱلْغَيْبِ وَٱلشَّهَٰدَةِ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ ٦
Zaalika ‘aalimul ghaybi wa shahaadatil ‘azeezur raheem.
That is the Knower of the unseen and the witnessed, the Exalted in Might, the Merciful.

ٱلَّذِيٓ أَحْسَنَ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ خَلَقَهُۥ ۖ وَبَدَأَ خَلْقَ ٱلْإِنسَٰنِ مِن طِينٍ ٧
Allazee ahsana kulla shai in khalaqa; wa bada a khalqal insaani min teen.
Who perfected everything which He created and began the creation of man from clay.

ثُمَّ جَعَلَ نَسْلَهُۥ مِن سُلَٰلَةٍ مِّن مَّآءٍ مَّهِينٍ ٨
Thumma ja’ala naslahoo min sulaalatim mim maaa’immaheen.
Then He made his descendants from an extract of a humble fluid.

ثُمَّ سَوَّىٰهُ وَنَفَخَ فِيهِ مِن رُّوحِهِۦ ۖ وَجَعَلَ لَكُمُ ٱلسَّمْعَ وَٱلْأَبْصَٰرَ وَٱلْأَفْـِٔدَةَ ۚ قَلِيلًا مَّا تَشْكُرُونَ ٩
Thumma sawwaahu wa nafakha feehi mir roohihih; wa ja’ala lakumus sam’a wal-absaara wal-af’idah; qaleelam maa tashkuroon.
Then He proportioned him and breathed into him from His created soul, and made for you hearing, sight, and hearts; little are you grateful.

وَقَالُوٓاْ أَءِذَا ضَلَلْنَا فِي ٱلْأَرْضِ أَءِنَّا لَفِي خَلْقٍ جَدِيدٍ ۚ بَلْ هُم بِلِقَآءِ رَبِّهِمْ كَٰفِرُونَ ١٠
Wa qaalooo ‘a-izaa dalalnaa fil ardi ‘a-innaa lafee khalqin jadeed; bal hum biliqaaa’i rabbihim kaafiroon.
And they say, ‘When we are lost within the earth, will we really be recreated in a new creation?’ Rather, they deny the meeting with their Lord.

قُلْ يَتَوَفَّىٰكُم مَّلَكُ ٱلْمَوْتِ ٱلَّذِي وُكِّلَ بِكُمْ ثُمَّ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكُمْ تُرْجَعُونَ ١١
Qul yatawaffaakum malakul mawtil lazee wukkila bikum thumma ilaa rabbikum turja’oon.
Say, ‘The angel of death entrusted with you will take you. Then to your Lord you will be returned.’

وَلَوْ تَرَىٰٓ إِذِ ٱلْمُجْرِمُونَ نَاكِسُواْ رُءُوسِهِمْ عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ رَبَّنَآ أَبْصَرْنَا وَسَمِعْنَا فَٱرْجِعْنَا نَعْمَلْ صَٰلِحًا إِنَّا مُوقِنُونَ ١٢
Wa law taraaa izil mujrimoona naakisoo ru’oosihim ‘inda rabbihim rabbanaaa absarnaa wa sami’naa farji’naa na’mal saalihan innaa mooqinoon.
If you could see when the criminals hang their heads before their Lord, saying, ‘Our Lord, we have seen and heard, so send us back; we will do righteousness. Indeed, we are now certain.’

وَلَوْ شِئْنَا لَأٓتَيْنَا كُلَّ نَفْسٍ هُدَىٰهَا وَلَٰكِنْ حَقَّ ٱلْقَوْلُ مِنِّي لَأَمْلَأَنَّ جَهَنَّمَ مِنَ ٱلْجِنَّةِ وَٱلنَّاسِ أَجْمَعِينَ ١٣
Wa law shi’naa la-aatainaa kulla nafsin hudaahaa wa laakin haqqal qawlu minnee la amla’anna jahannama minal jinnati wannaasi ajma’een.
And if We had willed, We could have given every soul its guidance, but the word from Me will come into effect: I will surely fill Hell with jinn and people all together.

فَذُوقُواْ بِمَا نَسِيتُمْ لِقَآءَ يَوْمِكُمْ هَٰذَآ إِنَّا نَسِينَٰكُمْ ۖ وَذُوقُواْ عَذَابَ ٱلْخُلْدِ بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ ١٤
Fazooqoo bimaa naseetum liqaaa’a yawmikum haaza innaa naseenaakum wa zooqoo ‘azaabal khuldi bimaa kuntum ta’maloon.
So taste punishment because you forgot the meeting of this Day of yours. Indeed, We have forgotten you. And taste the punishment of eternity for what you used to do.

إِنَّمَا يُؤْمِنُ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا ٱلَّذِينَ إِذَا ذُكِّرُواْ بِهَا خَرُّواْ سُجَّدًا وَسَبَّحُواْ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّهِمْ وَهُمْ لَا يَسْتَكْبِرُونَ ۩ ١٥
Innamaa yu’minu bi aayaatinal lazeena izaa zukkiroo bihaa kharroo sujjadanw wa sabbahoo bihamdi rabbihim wa hum laa yastakbiroon. Make sajdah here.
Only those truly believe in Our verses who, when they are reminded by them, fall down in prostration, glorify the praises of their Lord, and are not arrogant.

قُلْ يَوْمَ ٱلْفَتْحِ لَا يَنفَعُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوٓا۟ إِيمَـٰنُهُمْ وَلَا هُمْ يُنظَرُونَ ٢٩
Qul yawmal fathi laa yanfa‘ul lazeena kafarooo eemaanuhum wa laa hum yunzaroon.
Say, ‘On the Day of Decision, the belief of those who disbelieved will not benefit them, nor will they be given delay.’
