طسٓ ۚ تِلْكَ ءَايَـٰتُ ٱلْقُرْءَانِ وَكِتَابٍۢ مُّبِينٍ ١
Ta-Seen. Tilka ayatul-Qur’ani wa kitabim-mubin.
Ta-Seen. These are the verses of the Quran and a clear Book.

ٱلَّذِينَ يُقِيمُونَ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَيُؤْتُونَ ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ وَهُم بِٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ هُمْ يُوقِنُونَ ٣
Alladhina yuqimunas-salata wa yu’tunaz-zakata wa hum bil-akhirati hum yuqinoon.
Those who establish prayer, give zakat, and they are certain of the Hereafter.

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ زَيَّنَّا لَهُمْ أَعْمَـٰلَهُمْ فَهُمْ يَعْمَهُونَ ٤
Innal-ladhina la yu’minuna bil-akhirati zayyanna lahum a‘malahum fahum ya‘mahun.
Indeed, those who do not believe in the Hereafter, We have made their deeds pleasing to them, so they wander blindly.

أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ لَهُمْ سُوٓءُ ٱلْعَذَابِ وَهُمْ فِى ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ هُمُ ٱلْأَخْسَرُونَ ٥
Ula’ikal-ladhina lahum su’ul-‘adhabi wa hum fil-akhirati humul-akhsarun.
Those are the ones for whom there is the worst punishment, and in the Hereafter they will be the greatest losers.

إِذْ قَالَ مُوسَىٰ لِأَهْلِهِۦٓ إِنِّىٓ ءَانَسْتُ نَارًۭا سَـَٔاتِيكُم مِّنْهَا بِخَبَرٍ أَوْ ءَاتِيكُم بِشِهَابٍۢ قَبَسٍۢ لَّعَلَّكُمْ تَصْطَلُونَ ٧
Idh qala Musa li ahlihi inni anastu naran sa’atikum minha bikhabarin aw atikum bishihabin qabasil-la‘allakum tastalun.
When Musa said to his family, “Indeed, I have seen a fire. I will bring you from it some news, or I will bring you a burning flame so that you may warm yourselves.”

فَلَمَّا جَآءَهَا نُودِىَ أَنۢ بُورِكَ مَن فِى ٱلنَّارِ وَمَنْ حَوْلَهَا وَسُبْحَـٰنَ ٱللَّهِ رَبِّ ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ ٨
Falamma ja’aha nudiya am burika man fin-nari wa man hawlaha wa subhanallahi Rabbil-‘alamin.
But when he came to it, he was called, “Blessed is whoever is at the fire and whoever is around it. And glorified is Allah, Lord of all worlds.”

وَأَلْقِ عَصَاكَ ۚ فَلَمَّا رَءَاهَا تَهْتَزُّ كَأَنَّهَا جَآنٌّۭ وَلَّىٰ مُدْبِرًۭا وَلَمْ يُعَقِّبْ ۚ يَـٰمُوسَىٰ لَا تَخَفْ إِنِّى لَا يَخَافُ لَدَىَّ ٱلْمُرْسَلُونَ ١٠
Wa alqi ‘asak. Falamma ra’aha tahtazzu ka’annaha jannuw-walla mudbiraw-wa lam yu‘aqqib. Ya Musa la takhaf, inni la yakhafu ladayyal-mursalun.
And throw down your staff. But when he saw it moving as if it were a snake, he turned in flight and did not look back. “O Musa, do not fear. Indeed, the messengers do not fear in My presence.”

Illa man zalama thumma baddala husnam-ba‘da su’in fa inni Ghafurur-Rahim.
Except one who did wrong and then replaced evil with good after wrongdoing. Indeed, I am Most Forgiving, Most Merciful.

وَأَدْخِلْ يَدَكَ فِى جَيْبِكَ تَخْرُجْ بَيْضَآءَ مِنْ غَيْرِ سُوٓءٍۢ ۖ فِى تِسْعِ ءَايَـٰتٍ إِلَىٰ فِرْعَوْنَ وَقَوْمِهِۦٓ ۚ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا۟ قَوْمًۭا فَـٰسِقِينَ ١٢
Wa adkhil yadaka fi jaybika takhruj baida’a min ghairi su’in fi tis‘i ayatin ila Fir‘awna wa qawmih. Innahum kanu qawman fasiqin.
And insert your hand into your garment; it will come out white without harm. These are among nine signs to Fir‘awn and his people. Indeed, they were a defiantly disobedient people.

فَلَمَّا جَآءَتْهُمْ ءَايَـٰتُنَا مُبْصِرَةًۭ قَالُوا۟ هَـٰذَا سِحْرٌۭ مُّبِينٌۭ ١٣
Falamma ja’athum ayatuna mubsiratan qalu hadha sihrum-mubin.
But when Our signs came to them clearly visible, they said, “This is obvious magic.”

وَجَحَدُوا۟ بِهَا وَٱسْتَيْقَنَتْهَآ أَنفُسُهُمْ ظُلْمًۭا وَعُلُوًّۭا ۚ فَٱنظُرْ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَـٰقِبَةُ ٱلْمُفْسِدِينَ ١٤
Wa jahadu biha wastaiqanatha anfusuhum zulmaw-wa ‘uluwwa. Fanzur kaifa kana ‘aqibatul-mufsidin.
And they rejected them, though their souls were certain of them, out of injustice and arrogance. So see how was the end of the corrupters.

And We certainly gave Dawud and Sulaiman knowledge, and they both said, “All praise is for Allah, who has favored us over many of His believing servants.”

And throw down your staff. But when he saw it moving as if it were a snake, he turned in flight and did not look back. “O Musa, do not fear. Indeed, the messengers do not fear in My presence.”

وَأَدْخِلْ يَدَكَ فِى جَيْبِكَ تَخْرُجْ بَيْضَآءَ مِنْ غَيْرِ سُوٓءٍۢ ۖ فِى تِسْعِ ءَايَـٰتٍ إِلَىٰ فِرْعَوْنَ وَقَوْمِهِۦٓ ۚ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا۟ قَوْمًۭا فَـٰسِقِينَ ١٢
Wa adkhil yadaka fi jaybika takhruj baida’a min ghairi su’in fi tis‘i ayatin ila Fir‘awna wa qawmih. Innahum kanu qawman fasiqin.
And insert your hand into your garment; it will come out white without harm. These are among nine signs to Fir‘awn and his people. Indeed, they were a defiantly disobedient people.

Wa jahadu biha wastaiqanatha anfusuhum zulmaw-wa ‘uluwwa. Fanzur kaifa kana ‘aqibatul-mufsidin.
And they rejected them, though their souls were certain of them, out of injustice and arrogance. So see how was the end of the corrupters.

And We certainly gave Dawud and Sulaiman knowledge, and they both said, “All praise is for Allah, who has favored us over many of His believing servants.”

And Sulaiman inherited Dawud. And he said, “O people, we have been taught the speech of birds and have been given from everything. Indeed, this is surely the clear favor.”

Hatta idha ataw ‘ala wadin-namli qalat namlatuy-ya ayyuhan-namlu udkhulu masakinakum la yahtimannakum Sulaimanu wa junuduhu wa hum la yash‘urun.
Until, when they came upon the valley of the ants, an ant said, “O ants, enter your homes, so Sulaiman and his soldiers do not crush you while they are unaware.”

Fatabassama dahikam-min qawliha wa qala Rabbi awzi‘ni an ashkura ni‘matakal-lati an‘amta ‘alayya wa ‘ala walidayya wa an a‘mala salihan tardahu wa adkhilni birahmatika fi ‘ibadikas-salihin.
So he smiled, laughing at her words, and said, “My Lord, enable me to be grateful for Your favor which You have bestowed upon me and upon my parents, and to do righteous deeds that please You, and admit me by Your mercy among Your righteous servants.”

La u‘adhdhibannahu ‘adhaban shadidan aw la adhbahannahu aw laya’tiyanni bisultanim-mubin.
I will surely punish him with a severe punishment, or I will surely slaughter him, unless he brings me a clear proof.

وَجَدتُّهَا وَقَوْمَهَا يَسْجُدُونَ لِلشَّمْسِ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ وَزَيَّنَ لَهُمُ ٱلشَّيْطَـٰنُ أَعْمَـٰلَهُمْ فَصَدَّهُمْ عَنِ ٱلسَّبِيلِ فَهُمْ لَا يَهْتَدُونَ ٢٤
Wajattuha wa qawmaha yasjuduna lish-shamsi min dunillahi wa zayyana lahumush-shaitanu a‘malahum fasaddahum ‘anis-sabili fahum la yahtadun.

Qalal-ladhi ‘indahu ‘ilmum-minal-kitabi ana atika bihi qabla ay-yartadda ilaika tarfuk. Falamma ra’ahu mustaqirran ‘indahu qala hadha min fadli Rabbi liyabluwani a’ashkuru am akfur. Wa man shakara fa innama yashkuru linafsih. Wa man kafara fa inna Rabbi Ghaniyyun Karim.
The one who had knowledge from the Book said, “I will bring it to you before your glance returns to you.” Then when he saw it settled before him, he said, “This is from the favor of my Lord to test me whether I will be grateful or ungrateful. Qila laha udkhulissarh. Falamma ra’athu hasibathu lujjataw-wa kashafat ‘an saqaiha. Qala innahu sarhum-mumarradum-min qawarir. Qalat Rabbi inni zalamtu nafsi wa aslamtu ma‘a Sulaimana lillahi Rabbil-‘alamin.

Qalu taqasamu billahi lanubayyitannahu wa ahlahu thumma lanaqulanna liwaliyyihi ma shahidna mahlika ahlihi wa inna lasadiqun.
They said, “Swear by Allah to one another that we will surely attack him and his family by night, then we will surely say to his heir, ‘We did not witness the destruction of his family, and indeed we are truthful.’”

Amman khalaqas-samawati wal-arda wa anzala lakum minas-sama’i ma’an fa ambatna bihi hada’iqa dhata bahjah. Ma kana lakum an tumbitu shajaraha. A’ilahum-ma‘allah? Bal hum qawmuy-ya‘dilun.
Or who created the heavens and the earth and sent down for you water from the sky, by which We caused gardens of beauty to grow? It was not for you to make their trees grow. Is there a god with Allah? Rather, they are a people who deviate.

Amman ja‘alal-arda qararaw-wa ja‘ala khilalaha anhara, wa ja‘ala laha rawasiya, wa ja‘ala bainal-bahraini hajiza. A’ilahum-ma‘allah? Bal aktharuhum la ya‘lamun.
Or who made the earth a stable place, placed rivers through it, made firm mountains for it, and placed a barrier between the two seas? Is there a god with Allah? Rather, most of them do not know.

Amman yujibul-mudtarra idha da‘ahu wa yakshifus-su’a wa yaj‘alukum khulafa’al-ard. A’ilahum-ma‘allah? Qalilam-ma tadhakkarun.
Or who responds to the desperate one when he calls upon Him, removes evil, and makes you successors on the earth? Is there a god with Allah? Little do you remember.

وَمَن جَآءَ بِٱلسَّيِّئَةِ فَكُبَّتْ وُجُوهُهُمْ فِى ٱلنَّارِ هَلْ تُجْزَوْنَ إِلَّا مَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ ٩٠
Wa man ja’a bis-sayyi’ati fakubbat wujuhuhum fin-nar. Hal tujzawna illa ma kuntum ta‘malun.
And whoever comes with an evil deed, their faces will be thrown down into the Fire. Are you recompensed except for what you used to do?

Innama umirtu an a‘buda Rabba hadhihil-baldatil-ladhi harramaha wa lahu kullu shai’, wa umirtu an akuna minal-muslimin.
I have only been commanded to worship the Lord of this city, who made it sacred, and to Him belongs everything. And I have been commanded to be among the Muslims.

Wa an atluwal-Qur’an. Famanih-tada fa innama yahtadi linafsih, wa man dalla faqul innama ana minal-mundhirin.
And to recite the Quran. So whoever is guided is only guided for himself, and whoever goes astray, then say, “I am only one of the warners.”

Wa qulil-hamdu lillahi sayurikum ayatihi fata‘rifunaha, wa ma Rabbuka bighafilin ‘amma ta‘malun.
And say, “All praise is for Allah. He will show you His signs, and you will recognize them. And your Lord is not unaware of what you do.”
