Time

Wal-‘Asr
By time.
Word-by-Word Meaning

| وَٱلْعَصْرِ | Wal-‘Asr | by time |
Simple Explanation
Allah swears by time. Time is one of the clearest signs of human weakness because it keeps moving and never returns.
Every breath, day, opportunity, and stage of life is passing. A person either uses time for Allah or loses it.
This ayah wakes the heart to stop treating time as cheap, because time is the field where faith and deeds are planted.
