Surah Al-Insan

هَلْ أَتَىٰ عَلَى ٱلْإِنسَـٰنِ حِينٌ مِّنَ ٱلدَّهْرِ لَمْ يَكُن شَيْـًٔا مَّذْكُورًا

Transliteration

Hal ataa ‘alal-insaani heenun-minad-dahri lam yakun shai’am-mazkooraa

Surah Al-Insan

إِنَّا خَلَقْنَا ٱلْإِنسَـٰنَ مِن نُّطْفَةٍ أَمْشَاجٍ نَّبْتَلِيهِ فَجَعَلْنَـٰهُ سَمِيعًۢا بَصِيرًا

Transliteration

Innaa khalaqnal-insaana min nutfatin amshaajin nabtaleehi faja‘alnaahu samee‘am-baseeraa

English Translation

Indeed, We created the human being from a mixed drop to test him, so We made him hearing and seeing.

Surah Al-Insan

إِنَّآ أَعْتَدْنَا لِلْكَـٰفِرِينَ سَلَـٰسِلَا۟ وَأَغْلَـٰلًا وَسَعِيرًا

Surah Al-Insan

إِنَّ ٱلْأَبْرَارَ يَشْرَبُونَ مِن كَأْسٍ كَانَ مِزَاجُهَا كَافُورًا

Transliteration

Innal-abraara yashraboona min ka’sin kaana mizaajuhaa kaafooraa

Indeed, the righteous will drink from a cup whose mixture is of Kafur.

عَيْنًا يَشْرَبُ بِهَا عِبَادُ ٱللَّهِ يُفَجِّرُونَهَا تَفْجِيرًا

وَيُطْعِمُونَ ٱلطَّعَامَ عَلَىٰ حُبِّهِۦ مِسْكِينًا وَيَتِيمًا وَأَسِيرًا

إِنَّمَا نُطْعِمُكُمْ لِوَجْهِ ٱللَّهِ لَا نُرِيدُ مِنكُمْ جَزَآءً وَلَا شُكُورًا

Surah Al-Insan

فَوَقَىٰهُمُ ٱللَّهُ شَرَّ ذَٰلِكَ ٱلْيَوْمِ وَلَقَّىٰهُمْ نَضْرَةً وَسُرُورًا

Transliteration

Fawaqaahumullaahu sharra zaalikal-yawmi wa laqqaahum nadratanw-wa surooraa

English Translation

So Allah protected them from the evil of that Day and gave them radiance and joy.

Wa jazaahum bimaa sabaroo jannatanw-wa hareeraa

And He rewarded them for their patience with a Garden and silk.

Surah Al-Insan

مُّتَّكِـِٔينَ فِيهَا عَلَى ٱلْأَرَآئِكِ ۖ لَا يَرَوْنَ فِيهَا شَمْسًا وَلَا زَمْهَرِيرًا

Muttaki’eena feehaa ‘alal-araaa’ik; laa yarawna feehaa shamsanw-wa laa zamhareraa

Reclining therein on couches. They will not see therein sun or freezing cold.

وَدَانِيَةً عَلَيْهِمْ ظِلَـٰلُهَا وَذُلِّلَتْ قُطُوفُهَا تَذْلِيلًا

Wa daaniyatan ‘alaihim zilaaluhaa wa zullilat qutoofuhaa tazleelaa

And its shade will be close over them, and its fruit clusters will be lowered in easy reach.

إِنَّ هَـٰذِهِۦ تَذْكِرَةٌ ۖ فَمَن شَآءَ ٱتَّخَذَ إِلَىٰ رَبِّهِۦ سَبِيلًا

Transliteration

Inna haazihee tazkirah; faman shaaa’at-takhaza ilaa Rabbihee sabeelaa

Indeed, this is a reminder, so whoever wills may take a path to his Lord.
