The Clear Proof
لَمْ يَكُنِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ مِنْ أَهْلِ ٱلْكِتَـٰبِ وَٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ مُنفَكِّينَ حَتَّىٰ تَأْتِيَهُمُ ٱلْبَيِّنَةُ
Lam yakunil-lazeena kafaroo min ahlil-kitaabi wal-mushrikeena munfakkeena hattaa ta’tiyahumul-bayyinah
Those who disbelieved among the People of the Scripture and the polytheists were not to separate until there came to them the clear proof.

وَمَآ أُمِرُوٓا۟ إِلَّا لِيَعْبُدُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ مُخْلِصِينَ لَهُ ٱلدِّينَ حُنَفَآءَ وَيُقِيمُوا۟ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَيُؤْتُوا۟ ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ ۚ وَذَٰلِكَ دِينُ ٱلْقَيِّمَةِ
Wa maaa umirooo illaa liya‘budullaaha mukhliseena lahud-deena hunafaaa’a wa yuqeemus-salaata wa yu’tuz-zakaata wa zaalika deenul-qayyimah
And they were not commanded except to worship Allah, sincere to Him in religion, inclining to truth, and to establish prayer and give zakah. And that is the correct religion.

Simple Explanation
Allah summarizes the core of true religion: worship Allah alone with sincerity, incline toward truth, establish prayer, and give zakah.

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ مِنْ أَهْلِ ٱلْكِتَـٰبِ وَٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ فِى نَارِ جَهَنَّمَ خَـٰلِدِينَ فِيهَآ ۚ أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ هُمْ شَرُّ ٱلْبَرِيَّةِ
Innal-lazeena kafaroo min ahlil-kitaabi wal-mushrikeena fee naari jahannama khaalideena feehaa; ulaaa’ika hum sharrul-bariyyah
Indeed, those who disbelieved among the People of the Scripture and the polytheists will be in the Fire of Hell, abiding therein. Those are the worst of creatures.

جَزَآؤُهُمْ عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ جَنَّـٰتُ عَدْنٍ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهَا ٱلْأَنْهَـٰرُ خَـٰلِدِينَ فِيهَآ أَبَدًا ۖ رَّضِىَ ٱللَّهُ عَنْهُمْ وَرَضُوا۟ عَنْهُ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ لِمَنْ خَشِىَ رَبَّهُۥ
Jazaaa’uhum ‘inda Rabbihim jannaatu ‘adnin tajree min tahtihal-anhaaru khaalideena feehaaa abadaa; radiyallaahu ‘anhum wa radoo ‘anh; zaalika liman khashiya Rabbah
Their reward with their Lord is gardens of eternal residence beneath which rivers flow, abiding therein forever. Allah is pleased with them, and they are pleased with Him. That is for whoever fears his Lord.

Simple Explanation
Allah describes the reward of the believers: gardens of eternal residence beneath which rivers flow, where they will remain forever.
The greatest part of the reward is that Allah is pleased with them, and they are pleased with Him.
