Surah Al-‘Adiyat

وَٱلْعَـٰدِيَـٰتِ ضَبْحًا

Transliteration

Wal-‘aadiyaati dabhaa

By the racers, panting.

Surah Al-‘Adiyat

فَٱلْمُورِيَـٰتِ قَدْحًا

Fal-mooriyaati qadhaa

And those that strike sparks of fire.

فَوَسَطْنَ بِهِۦ جَمْعًا

Fa wasatna bihee jam‘aa

Surah Al-‘Adiyat

إِنَّ ٱلْإِنسَـٰنَ لِرَبِّهِۦ لَكَنُودٌ

Transliteration

Innal-insaana li Rabbihi lakanoood

English Translation

Indeed, the human being is surely ungrateful to his Lord.

And indeed, he is surely a witness to that.

أَفَلَا يَعْلَمُ إِذَا بُعْثِرَ مَا فِى ٱلْقُبُورِ

Afalaa ya‘lamu izaa bu‘thira maa fil-quboor

But does he not know when what is in the graves is scattered?

Inna Rabbahum bihim yawma’izil-lakhabeer

Indeed, their Lord, that Day, will surely be fully aware of them.
