Who are Ya’juj and Ma’juj?
Ya’juj and Ma’juj are not a symbol, a fantasy tribe, or a bedtime monster story. They are a real people whom Allah mentioned by name. The Qur’an describes them as people who were spreading corruption in the earth during the time of Dhul-Qarnayn, and authentic hadith describe their release near the end of time.
We do not need to invent their exact ethnicity, country, language, or modern political identity. The Qur’an gives the name, the corruption, the barrier, and the final release. The Sunnah gives the order of events near the end of time. That is enough for safe belief and teaching.
