A Landslide in Arabia

The Prophet ﷺ mentioned land-sliding in three places among the ten major signs before the Hour: one in the east, one in the west, and one in Arabia. This means the landslide in Arabia is not a side detail. It is one of the named major signs.

The hadith does not name a city, mountain, valley, border, year, or group of people. It gives the region and the certainty of the sign. The safest teaching is to say what the narration says and not build extra claims around it.

The three landslides are often mentioned together because they appear together in the hadith. But in the ten-sign count, they are not one combined sign. They are three named signs: east, west, and Arabia.

We know from authentic hadith that a landslide in Arabia will happen before the Hour. We also know that it is one of the ten major signs, so it should be treated with seriousness and belief.

We do not know the exact place within Arabia. The narration does not say Makkah, Madinah, Yemen, Najd, Hijaz, a particular mountain, or any modern state. Allah knows the exact place and time.

No one should point to every sinkhole, earthquake, road collapse, mountain slip, or desert crack and announce with certainty that this is the promised landslide in Arabia.

Natural disasters can happen for many reasons. The hadith confirms the sign, but it does not give ordinary people permission to attach the label to every frightening clip. The safer wording is: this sign will happen, and Allah knows best when it appears.

Arabia is the land where revelation came, where the final Prophet ﷺ was sent, and where Makkah and Madinah are located. A landslide connected to Arabia among the great signs reminds the believer that honour is not a shield against Allah’s command.

The ground, the mountains, the deserts, and the cities all belong to Allah. When the earth itself becomes part of the signs of the Hour, the heart should become softer, not louder with speculation.

Because the hadith gives only brief details, people sometimes fill the empty spaces with guesses. A clean Islamic page should not turn a short authentic narration into a long invented map.
