يَوْمَ يَقُومُ ٱلرُّوحُ وَٱلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةُ صَفًّا ۖ لَّا يَتَكَلَّمُونَ إِلَّا مَنْ أَذِنَ لَهُ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنُ وَقَالَ صَوَابًا
Yawma yaqoomur-Roohu wal-malaaa’ikatu saffaa; laa yatakallamoona illaa man azina lahur-Rahmaanu wa qaala sawaabaa
The Day the Spirit and the angels will stand in rows. They will not speak except one whom the Most Merciful permits and who says what is correct.

Simple Explanation
Allah is the Lord of the heavens, the earth, and everything between them. He is Ar-Rahman, the Most Merciful, yet no one can speak before Him without permission.
On that Day, the Spirit and the angels will stand in rows. Even the greatest created beings will not speak except by the permission of the Most Merciful and only with correct speech.
This teaches awe. Before Allah, voices fall silent, ranks are formed, and authority belongs only to Him.

Zaalikal-yawmul-haqq; faman shaaa’at-takhaza ilaa Rabbihee ma’aabaa
That is the True Day. So whoever wills may take a return to his Lord.
