Start by hearing each Quran letter clearly. Listen first, repeat slowly, then record and check your voice before moving ahead.

The goal is not speed. The goal is a clean sound, steady tongue, and calm repetition.
How to practise this lesson
Use one letter at a time. Play the sound, repeat it three times, then record your own voice. If it sounds unclear, delete and try again. Save only when the sound feels clean and steady.
Letter Sounds

Alif / Hamzah
A clean opening sound. Do not stretch unless a long vowel is present.
Baa
Made with the lips. Keep it clear and light.
Taa
A light tongue sound. Do not make it heavy.
Thaa
Tongue touches near the teeth. Keep the breath soft.
Jeem
A clear middle-tongue sound. Do not swallow it.
Haa
A deep throat sound. It is not the same as English H.
Khaa
A strong throat sound with airflow.
Daal
A light tongue sound. Keep it short and clean.
Dhaal
Tongue near the teeth. Do not turn it into Zaa.
Raa
Tongue-tip sound. Keep it controlled, not over-rolled.
Zaay
A clear buzzing sound. Do not mix with Dhaal.
Seen
Light S sound. Do not make it heavy like Saad.
Sheen
Soft spreading sound. Keep it clear.
Saad
Heavy S sound. The mouth should feel fuller.
Daad
Heavy tongue-side sound. Practise slowly.
Taa Heavy
Heavy T sound. Do not read it like light Taa.
Zaa Heavy
Heavy sound from near the teeth. Practise carefully.
Ayn
Deep throat sound. Keep it open and controlled.
Ghayn
Deep throat sound with vibration.
Faa
Lower lip and upper teeth. Keep airflow clear.
Qaaf
Deep back-tongue sound. Do not read it like Kaaf.
Kaaf
Back-tongue sound, lighter than Qaaf.
Laam
Tongue touches behind the upper teeth. Keep it short unless there is a long vowel.
Meem
Lip sound. Close both lips clearly.
Noon
Tongue-tip sound. Some cases need nasal ghunnah later.
Haa Light
Light breath sound from the throat.
Waaw
Lip-rounded sound. It can also create a long oo sound.
Yaa
Soft Y sound. It can also create a long ee sound.
