A Landslide in the East

The Prophet ﷺ mentioned land-slides in three places among the ten major signs before the Hour: one in the east, one in the west, and one in Arabia. The landslide in the east is therefore not a small ordinary incident, but a major end-time sign named in authentic hadith.

The hadith does not give us a city, country, date, map coordinate, or detailed description of the people affected. This silence is part of the teaching. A believer accepts the sign as true, while refusing to decorate it with guesswork.

Sometimes people say “the three landslides” as one heading because they are mentioned together. That is fine as a broad topic heading, but in the list of ten major signs, the narrations count them as three separate signs.

This is why it is cleaner for a learning page to give each one its own file: the east, the west, and the Arabian Peninsula. The reader can see the authentic ten-sign structure clearly without mixing three signs into one confusing card.

We know from authentic hadith that a major landslide in the east will occur before the Hour. We also know that it is one of the ten major signs, so it is not merely a normal natural disaster being described in passing.

The Prophet ﷺ identified a major end-time landslide in the east, but he did not command us to attach that label to every news report. The safe path is to say: Allah knows best. The sign is true, its exact occurrence is from the unseen, and we should prepare with iman and righteous action.

People usually think of the ground as the most stable thing in life. We build homes, roads, markets, towers, and cities on it. A major landslide reminds the heart that even the ground is only stable because Allah holds it by His command.

The lesson is not to stare at maps with panic. The lesson is humility. If the earth itself can shift by Allah’s command, then a believer should not build life on arrogance, sins, or false security.

Because this sign is mentioned briefly, some people try to fill the empty spaces with dramatic guesses. The blank spaces are not an invitation to invent. They are a reminder to stop where revelation stops.
