A child promised after sincere dua

Yahya عليه السلام was born as an answer to the dua of Zakariyya عليه السلام.

His father was old, his mother had been barren, and the usual means seemed closed. But Allah gave glad tidings of a boy named Yahya. His name itself came through revelation.
